MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF CCRWD#2
The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Rural Water District No. 2 of Cass County, Nebraska was held at 108 So. 4th Street, Elmwood, Nebraska on the 11th day of February 2021 at 7:30 p.m. Present were Don Edwards, Ted Retzlaff, John Wagoner, Bill Ross, Martha Rhoades, Travis Isaacs, Eric Towle, Manager Mark Hogue and Assistant Manager Troy Callaway.
Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by newspaper publication and posting at the District Office, two of the designated methods of giving notice, as shown by the Affidavit of Publication (Certificate of Posting Notice) attached to these minutes. Notice of this meeting and an agenda were emailed to the Chairman and all members of the Board and is attached to the minutes. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public.
President –President Don Edwards called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and he announced the open meetings act is posted on the wall in the office.
January Meetings Minutes approved. No corrections
Treasurer’s Report:. Motion to receive treasurer’s report made by John – 2nd Eric, Roll Call Vote – Motion approved 7-0. No additional discussion on the Treasurer’s Report.
.Assistant Manager’s Report – Troy Callaway – Troy has been doing locates and he read meters on January 28th.
Office Report – 10 Customers on the late list and will receive notices on the 15th. Beth is working on end of year financials and getting us ready for the audit on February 15th. Customer bills went out on 1-29-2021 an email bill was also sent out for all customers with an Email address on file. We have had 30 customers notify us to go to paperless billing after receiving last month’s bill with a message offering paperless billing on it.

OLD BUSINESS
Mark talked to Murdock Board February 2nd about using the water tower in Murdock for the new AMI meter reading. Pending final response from Murdock Board.
NEW BUSINESS
On the schedule with microcomm to do the last stage of the SCADA updating. (weather permitting)
Annual Dinner at the Quonset Bar and Grill on March 12th at 6:00 PM
